October Half Term:
Term Time children break up on Friday 21st October and return on Monday 31st October.
The Photographer will be in Nursery on Tuesday 25th October.
We will be fundraising for Children in Need on Friday 18th November:

Applying for school:
If your child was born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013 they will be eligible to start school in September 2017.
You will be able to make your application online from 9am on 14th November 2016.

Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome back to the Summer Term at The Mulberry Bush. We have lots of exciting adventures planned over the next few months including some trips out, a summer fayre, planting our individual garden areas, exploring different themes and using the children’s interests to extend learning and development. But most important of all we intend to have lots and lots of fun- and we hope the children do to!
Each room will send out further information letting you know dates and venues for the trips. We are mindful of the extra costs involved and will always try to consider this when choosing where to go.
We plan to continue with further improvements to the overall look of the Nursery and have plans to improve the outdoor play areas to make them more accessible - even in the wet weather. We would also like to re-decorate the baby unit when it is convenient to do so.
The group and room changes we have made since Christmas have been really successful and we have seen many positive changes among both the children and the Practitioners.
Thank you for your response to the questionnaire we sent out, overall the feedback was very positive. We value all your comments and intend to act on them as soon as we can. Further information about how we are responding is available in the reception area.
Please note that we will be changing our fee structure at the end of this month. The usual annual fee review did not take place in October 2015 as we wanted to review the complicated fee structure we had inherited. We are about to complete the review and a new and simpler fee structure will be implemented as of the 1st May 2015. As well as reviewing the fee structure we have also had to take in to consideration the impacts of the new wage legislation and other increases in running costs. Further details will be available before any changes come into effect.
