Mulberry Bush Nursery - Childcare In Derbyshire

Welcome to Mulberry Bush Day Nurseries, where we provide fun, friendly and stimulating childcare and education for children aged 0-12 years old in Derbyshire. We operate from two day nursery locations; Ashbourne and Belper, and aim to further your child’s development along with providing them with a safe and secure environment in which to play and learn.

Day Nursery

Each day nursery is divided into age-specific units, where children of a similar age are cared for together.

• Baby Units (3-12 months)
• Tweenies Units (12-18 months)
• Younger Toddlers (18-30 months)
• Older Toddlers (30-36 months)
• Pre-School (3-5 years)
• Sessional Pre-School Playgroup (2-5 years) at Ashbourne
• Before & After-School Clubs and Holiday Clubs (4-12 years)

A Typical Day at Our Day Nurseries

The day is organised to meet the needs of each child, with childcare routines highly flexible. Each of the children in our care has a key worker, who works closely with the child and parents to ensure continuous updates regarding progress and achievements.

Health & Safety

Health and safety are more than just words with Mulberry Bush. Our team is highly trained, professional and fully Police and CRB checked. Our day nurseries are key fob secured and CCTV monitored, to ensure the peace of mind for all of our parents and carers that their children are in safe hands.

After School Club

At Mulberry Bush we also run out of school, breakfast and holiday clubs for 4-12 year olds from purpose-built premises in the grounds of our Derbyshire nurseries.

These clubs are run by qualified and experienced staff who are fully trained in working with older children.
