Each Mulberry Bush Day Nursery is divided into units, where children of similar ages are cared for together.
The baby units cater for babies from the age of 3 months to approximately 12 months.
The Tweenies units cater for 12 months to approximately 18 months.
The Toddler Units cater for children from 18 months to two and a half years and 2 and a half to 3 years.
The Pre-School units cater for children aged between 3 and 5 years.

Children are moved to a new unit within the nursery based on their individual readiness, and not always on their chronological age. Some children take longer to settle into a new group than others, and our staff always work closely with parents at this stage to ensure that both children and parents feel comfortable during transitional periods.
Each unit of the nursery has its own staff, who enjoy working with each particular age group, but when your child moves on to a new room, his/her ‘key’ worker from the previous room will always help to settle your child into the new unit.
The toys and activities offered in the different areas of the nursery are carefully chosen to encourage all-round development.
