Both of the Mulberry Bush Nurseries employ qualified cooks, who prepare fresh food each day. The cooks provide a well balanced diet for the children’s lunches often using seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Sample menus can be viewed in the nurseries, and if you have any concerns about your child’s diet, please ask the nursery manager if you can discuss their requirements.
The nurseries all cater for vegetarian children, and for those who require a special diet for religious reasons. Many children attending our nurseries have allergies, especially to peanuts and nut oils, so please ensure that you inform us of any allergies on the nursery application form.
Our cooks all keep comprehensive lists of special dietary requirements in the kitchen, and other staff who are responsible for preparing snacks are also required to consult these lists.
All meals are included in the daily fees unless your child attends a short morning or afternoon session. An extra lunch or tea can always be purchased at a nominal cost.
